The program comprises of a world – class curriculum taught by internationally qualified faculty, with expertise in global business practices. So far, more than 120 have graduated from this program, and are currently employed both in private and government organizations. Some are even serving in senior roles in government and private industries.

Admissions Criteria

Candidates for the AUAF Masters of Business Administration must complete the following steps for admission.

  • Complete and submit an MBA application form for admission.
  • Submit your attested  undergraduate diploma and transcript.
  • Provide an official TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo score completed in the last two years. 
  • Submit three (3) letters of recommendation. Contact our Admissions Department for details.
  • Include an updated professional resume.
  • Include a one (1) page motivational letter on why you want an MBA degree.
  • Have a personal interview with AUAF MBA Steering Committee if requested.
  • Provide any followup information if requested
  • Pay the non-refundable application fee, and provide a receipt to show that you have paid to the admissions department.
  • Take the placement exam conducted by the American University of Afghanistan during orientation session
  • Provide a copy of your taskera or passport.

Deadlines for Admission

The MBA program starts as a cohort each semester.  
The deadline for application is two months before the start of the planned semester.

Tuition and Fees

Total tuition is AFN 28,150 per credit for the two-year AUAF Master of Business Administration program.
Students must have access to a personal computer at their own expense equipped with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint software.
Payment plans are available. Credit cost subject to change - please check with Finance for the most up to date information.
