AUAF Students are Bringing the Future to Life

AUAF students are not just thinking about the future. In ITC 210—System Integration and Architecture—they are making it happen. At the AUAF Robotics Day on December 19, over 60 students joined on-line and in-person to present final class projects developing practical applications ranging from smart houses to parking lot monitors, and many more. Students not only built useful robotic systems, but also wrote the codes—the essential element that allows their projects to function. These projects were all developed by students working on-line, thanks to generous support from the Berger Charitable Foundation that allowed student teams to have individual hardware kits even while working remotely. Mahliha Arif served as the Robotics Day emcee, inviting each team to showcase their project. Congratulations to all the presenters, and to Professor Ahmad al-Janad for his guidance and support throughout the semester that helped to inspire the robotics students to be contributors in an IT-dominant future.
