Ramadan Mubarak

As Ramadan begins in AUAF’s 15th year, I am grateful to be part of a community that values mutuality and peace. Ramadan is a time for prayer, fasting, and forgiveness – a time of beginnings as well as reflection on the past. Whatever our individual origins and faiths within this culturally diverse community of students and educators, we celebrate our ability to join together in the traditions that give us strength. This year, I ask that we be kind and compassionate to each other so that, together, we can project kindness and compassion to a world that dearly needs these qualities.

Ramadan Kareem, to everyone at AUAF, your families, and your loved ones.
